Not a lot of information on this at the moment, but from what I have gathered;

-The WMD found are chemical and in a large stockpile that could kill hundreds of thousands.

-They are probably pre 1991 but they are still usable.

-Saddam new about them and purposely hid them from UN inspectors.

-This is a clear violation of the UN resolution.

What I don’t understand is why this was classified for so long, or classified at all. And why is there much more of this information out there that is still classified? This should have been released ASAP. I will be very disappointed if it was held to be used as a political weapon to be dropped like a bomb when the time was right. This is no game and should not be played like one.

Hopefully this will put a lid on the whole WMD debate and we can concentrate on Making Iraq a free democracy. I don’t want to see any “I told you so”. I just want to see a troubled part of the Earth join the free world.
