It appears these guys lacked both the means and abilities of a Timothy McVeigh.
From the tv interviews of family members these guys look like the wannabe kids that are seeking to gain prestige by looking tough. So, they dress in the baggy pants, roll up the left leg, pull their red ball cap visor to the left and wear their Nikes untied---then go into a Folk Nation area and get beat near to death by the Latin Dragons or NETA. Then wonder why? They were just trying to be stylish!
According to the sister of "brother sunni" the press got it wrong. His nick-name was sunny, and always has been. Sorta like when Life Mag. reported a big religious revival on the Georgia Tech campus years ago. Life reported hundreds of student gathered around a huge bonfire shouting "We want God!" "We want God!" The story of this religious epiphany was in reality an epiphenomenon. It was a pep rally and the students were calling for the coach, Bobby Dodd.
