Integral Fast Reactors...
...can do the same thing with just regular uranium. With very similar waste outcomes too. My issue with thorium reactors is that the U233 generated is also a bomb-grade fissile, like U235. Hopefully the stuff stays mixed into the thorium during the fuel cycle.
