SW 1-3 didn't need to be made

No, you haven't. They got a little better after Phantom Mess - I mean Menace -
but that isn't saying much. The cinematic magic that there was in the first three
is definitely gone with the next three. And who the heck has a set of trilogies
that STARTED with Episode 4?? Yes, yes, I know the real reason why, but you
know what I mean.

They really did not need to show us how ol' Darth came to be; leaving it to our
imaginations was far more interesting and powerful. But no, in today's society,
every nut, bolt, thought, and detail has to be shown to the public in living color
over and over. Spoon feeding the masses once again. Wouldn't want them to
have to think about something too much now, would we? Might make them
not want to see the film twice and buy that extra $10 ticket.

As for that kid who portrayed early Darth in PM - Did Lucas and his syncophants
have any clue about finding a child actor who could ACT?! The kid practically
yelled his lines. I didn't buy him as Young Darth for a second. He ruined any
chance of me trying to see Darth as a good guy in his youth. And he's a great
and instinctive pilot and droid builder to boot? Yeah, right. Sell me some more
midi-chlorians, George.

The teenage version wasn't much better, but at least I could buy his transformation
a bit more.

And Jar Jar Binks. You know when the comic relief for the kids goes over like a
lead balloon that you're in big trouble. Or at least Lucas should have. At least
he knew enough to reduce his role to a brief non-speaking part at the end of
Episode 3.

In regards to that post saying how elites run the world and we'd better get
used to it. I have never been big on being told what to do by those who put
themselves out there as authorities mainly because they say they are in
charge, have lots of money and powerful friends, or because their parents
got them the job. Not much I can always do about these people and
situations, sad to say, but it doesn't mean I have to like it or follow the
herd every time they bleat.

If someone wants to run something, they have to show me they can do
the job before I consider listening to them. That is my right. But I am
also very tired of having to bow to the Alpha Males because that's what
our primate ancestors did. Time to get past our genetic programming,
folks.
