Fantastic Voyage
I loved FV as a kid - this was the pre-Star Wars era. Pal's War of the Worlds
was the Star Wars of its days.
One thing that amused me as I got older and saw FV again: They had the
technology to shrink a nuclear submarine and a group of humans, but they
used simple paper charts to plot their course! I know, I know, FV was made
in 1966.
And then of course there was the general arguing that a woman had no
place on such a mission among men. And our hero complaining that he
did not want to be "shrunk" even for one minute, to say nothing of sixty!
