I read since last year, both books.
Interesting to notice how an author believes how his book can be sold in the US: Neil had to be dreaming about going to the Moon even as a boy....(which was unrealistic)
It's a bit like believing in liquid water outside of Earth or exoplanets suitable for life, all of this without hard facts to support them, but just faith.
The space program is about science facts, not about faith.
Reading First Man, it's amazing to learn how "religious" Neil's mother was and how agnostic he was.
He was the First Man on another world and the Right Man for the job.
