Park in the visitor's lot, amble through the Rocket Park, follow the signs to the buildings that were open to the public... and a satisfying number of them were.
Last time I was there, it had morphed into "SpaceCenter Houston". The exhibits in the big air-conditioned building are very nice, especially considering Houston's weather. My visit coincided with a couple of temporary displays on the main floor: genuine Apollo parts loaned to the production of Apollo 13, and Charles Schultz's cartoons (and other art) from when he was comissioned by NASA for their internal publications.
Didn't have time for an IMAX, or to ride the bus to the Rocket Park (had a plane to catch)... My favorite items were the Shuttle flight deck mockup, and the huge mural painted by Alan Bean.
How's the restoration of the Saturn V going? I misplaced the bookmark to the website, which has been posted here before.
