re: Impatience and maintenance
Robots should be given more credit because they can be sent much earlier than humans to another world.
That way, they can teach us earlier what other better kind of robot can be sent (using the previous experience) to explore.
Robots won't need the kind of maintenance a manned space station needs or a manned base will need.
