that stuff IS basic math; the assignments were from 1st year tertiary level but the questions are revision of high school material. - so if you're saying they weren't properly taught that stuff in high school, then I agree. - Otherwise I'm not sure what you mean. It's certainly not advanced math - look at the basic trig question.
