HDTV is way overdue

Was supposed to happen in 2007 but now 2009. Inexpensive converter boxes available for anyone without an HDTV system. This will free up almost 90% of the bandwidth currently used by television broadcast, and will greatly increase the visual quality. Further, to me one of the best things about this is the end of the 4/3 aspect ratio.

2009 seems so far away....
