re: Why should

It be "humiliating" to ask questions and explain ones thoughts on these boards?

I asked some questions, but so far no one has answered them.
My hypothesis is based on my answers to those questions.
I do not see anything "humiliating" about the hypothesis or talking about it.

The only objection that others here seem to have about the hypothesis is that in their opinion the "effect" that radioactivity could possibly cause on the global environment is "negligible".
But how many of these people have studied gas laws, thermodynamics, nuclear physics, geophysics, and atmospheric behavior under variety of thermal and pressure conditions.

There are some very intelligent people posting to these boards, but non with BS or Ph.D. degrees in all these mentioned fields.

Long time ago, I also was of the opinion that nuclear power generation or nuclear bomb detonations in the atmosphere were of no consequence, that was back in 1958 when someone said that the "atomic bombs cause changes in the weather". What has changed my mind is that I have seen atmospheric changes that can only be explained by taking into consideration that the atmosphere is being "heated" by a source other than the sun.

The current "greenhouse effect" theory is used by many to try and explain the changes that are taking place globally, but the greenhouse effect does not explain many of the changes that are taking place.

The greenhouse effect does not explain why the ozone layer is disappearing. To explain that, another theory is used, and that blames the "cfc's" and other similar gasses that have the ability to "neutralize" ozone molecules.

Another effect that no one has studied or tried to explain, with the above mentioned theories, or with any other theory, is the fact that there is an increase in the temperature swing between the maximum low and the maximum high temperatures during 24 hour periods.

You can get an impression of such phenomenon by studying the information on sites such as
this one: http://oit.williams.edu/weather/archive_get_date_range.cfm

If you look at the maximum and minimum temperatures during the January of 1983, you will notice that during that month there were only about 10 days where the temperature swing between max., and min., was more than 10 degrees Celsius and never exceeding 19 degrees.
Then if you look at similar data for the month of January for the year 1992, you will notice that there are more than 20 days that exhibit a swing more than 10 degrees Celsius and some days exceeding 19 degrees Celsius.

During the period of ten years the temperature "swing" rate that goes over 10 degrees has doubled, and no one has explained why.

In my opinion the reason is very simple, and based on the laws of physics.
If you do not understand those laws, then study them, I'm tired of trying to explain them here.

By the way, back in the years before 1950 the temperature swing between high and low during a 24 hour period was usually less than 5 degrees Celsius.

What is going on, is the atmosphere getting "hotter" than usual or is it "escaping" into space, or is it doing both?

Why not compare the night time and day time temperature "swing" on the moon to that of the Earth and explain the reason why they are different.

You can even use mathematics to show how the density of the atmosphere affects the "sharpness" of the shadows edge and the "temperature swing" between the sunlit side and the shadow side.

Why not understand what I am saying first and then chide me if I am wrong.
