Alligator is quite popular here in Florida,
It tastes (I swear I'm not making this up) a lot like chicken, just a bit gamier. I ate a lot of sea turtle when I lived in Puerto Rico, too, before it became an endangered species. It tastes a lot like alligator.
And what's wrong with clams? Ever had abalone? Geoduck? The're big on the NW coast, up where Bowser lives.
