Okay, I was drunk at the time, but I do remember it clearly.
I was in an unknown bar in Korea at the time, and quite on my own. Generally speaking, this on its own is extremely dangerous, but, way back then, I recogized very few true dangers.
Any way, I had a minor flock of nationals goading me to try the delicasy, and I was quite hesitent. Eventually, I picked up the chop sticks and took a slice. There was a slightly tangy BBQ sauce available on the table for dipping. It quite honestly tasted like barbecued chicken, and, to the enjoyment of the bar's population, I ended up ordering a plate of my own.
To this day, though, with chicken being just about the cheapest meat around, I see no need to substitute it with something exotic and comparatively expensive, just because it's supposed to taste like chicken.
Cheers, all.
