I’m willing to except what the IAU decides; after all it is there job to decide these things. Otherwise anyone could call them what ever they want, like the ISR (international star registry) does with it’s scam to get people to pay for having a star named after their (wife, mother, friend, etc, etc). I wish the IAU would make some sort of statement condemning such fraudulent activities.
