These guys were not a group protesting a political organization or program they disagreed with, they were attempting to disrupt and intimidate a collection of elderly volunteers and civil servants who MIGHT uncover information they did not want publicized. They were punks and bullies in spite of their phony clean-cut church social appearance. I do not know where they originated, although I sincerely doubt they came from a mainstream GOP organization; the official Republican Party would never have sanctioned these thugs. These guys had that self-righteous zeal only the truly arrogant can muster when they are dealing with those for whom they have utter contempt.
As for your "other view" of the incident, I doubt it was as clear as mine was on the 11 o'clock news. I know if I had been there I would have been scared of them. Wake up, Tom. Admit that there are some very ugly people on the right.
