First it was WMDs. Including nukes. Fearmongering with lies, Bush-Cheney sold the US on that idea, even though the UN couldn't find them.

Next it was "bringing democracy to the Middle East". That has been shown to be one of the larger crocks of manure to come out of the Bush Administrations.

Remember Daddy Bush - "this is about restoring democracy to Kuwait"?

Seamlessly the True Believers have fallen on the "Saddam was worse than Bush" line, as if we should all be grateful to expect the President of the United States to be somehow better than a brutal Middle Eastern dictator.

And now even that's died.

Turns out Bush-Cheney is not better than Saddam. The same atrocities, tortures killings under Saddam have been repeated under Bush-Cheney. And for the same reason, to prevent a civil war.

And yes, there are rapes and random killings perpetrated by Americans, as there were by unconscionable Saddamites.

And guess who now lives in the same palaces as did Saddam and his minions. Yep. Bush-Cheney agents.

It's terribly sad to see what has happened to the greatest nation on Earth as it rapes and pillages one of the more tragic countries on the fact of the same Earth. Spending fortunes to do it, losing lives like dollar bills, maiming without remorse, and creating terrorists faster than anyone could kill them. Creating guaranteed mayhem for generations.
