OK, so you were a libertarian around in the early 70s - what are some of these issues which you mention? .. How did you related to hippies (what remained of them)? to Nixon (him again)? the space program?(well that's probably when you got started). - to anything else of interest?
I would have thought libertarianism was so singular, or personal, that it wouldn't have connected much with the rest of the world at all ..?
There are plenty of 60-year old socialists around here, many hanging out on Main street on the weekends holding up signs. As the saying goes, they do, in fact, have no brains.
Oops at first I thought you meant the HZ, then I remembered you called Bowser a Nihilist, not a socialist. - then I realized you mean California ... well, I don't know much about US socialists, but politics aside, I've heard San Fransisco is a hotbed of nut-cases and weirdos
(and heck, I sometimes go around with a 3-dollar multi-coloured children's umbrella .. only when it's raining though ;) and only for short local trips .. but my point is, I don't make a career out of being eccentric)
