In their quest for pennance they seek deliverance by the terrorists. They feel bad about their lives, actions, guilt, etcetera and are like children who REALLY NEED a spanking because they can't control themselves without some sort of external authority figure punishing them for their badness.

Now, as adults, they seek this punishment in condemnation from Europeans, condemnation from other nations and embrace anti-Americanism wholeheartedly because it fills such a psychological need they have.

Otherwise they will keep on with their complete immorality, gluttony, promiscuity, drunkenness, drug addiction without anyone to stop them.

This same exact complex is found in the folks who carry signs about the coming apocalypse, end of the world, etcetera. It doesn't matter if they are Democrat or Republican - this psychological need for judgment is universally shared.

When the bombs start exploding in their neighborhood it'll be different. They might actually wake up from their lemming march to the beat of terrorists drums and stop preaching treason long enough to save their own behind.

I was able to hear first hand accounts of 9/11 and the tower from the fire chief pulled from the wreckage. His lung capacity is 30% but he's mighty glad he's alive.
He lost a lot of 'brothers' that day, and when suddenly the building collapsed while he was in the stairwell, he knew he was dead. he first recovered consciousness thought he was dead and alone with his thoughts, because he could not feel anything. Then all of a sudden he smelled something burning and thought...oh %$!@ I'm in hell! It's funny as heck to hear him tell it, yet most of his words are somber and he knows we can't let the folks who don't play by the rules have nuclear technology or WMD.

Other folks are too busy hating their neighbors and fellow Americans and fueling foreign hatred of America with their own America-hate. It's really sad. Terrorists have many very willing partners in those who hate America - and are Americans.
