For all you conservatives out there that continue to support Attila the Bush, how CAN you in "good conscience" stand behind a man who believes in torture?
Tom? REB? SDAI-tech1? etc...
>"The president’s measure would go further than the Senate package in allowing classified evidence to be withheld from defendants in terror trials, using coerced testimony and protecting U.S. interrogators against prosecution for using methods that violate the Geneva Conventions."
"Classified evidence" that might protect an individual who has the goods on other illegal dealings on our OWN administration (convenient elimination of evidence), and torture. Against the Geneva Convention.
International LAW.
You can come up with your smarmy, irresolute BS about why you THINK Bush and Gonzales should ALLOW torture, but I think you're all morally bankrupt if you get behind this man and his ideas. And he CLAIMS to be a Christian!
At least Colin Powell has a <conscience>.
No torture!
The whole thread (17 posts)
- No torture!
- the issue isn't torture...It is why won't congress define exactly what torture IS?
- I would support torture in a heart beat.
