So read what you said.

The Geneva Convention wasn't pushed by the US to keep us from torturing other combatants. It was designed to save our own soldiers the anguish torture can bring. The framers were wise enough to know that one had to give up a tool to prevent that tool from being used on us. Why is this such a difficult concept?

A gentlemen's agreement works fine...as long as you're fighting gentlemen. If you haven't noticed, we're fighting savages. These people blow up children, cut off peoples heads, and fly planes into buildings. It's time to raise the black flag and show them no mercy. They may not like us, but they damn well will fear us.

Let's say our troops in Iraq capture a man driving a car packed full of explosives. They should take him and use any means necessary to locate the position of his comrades and their bomb making factory. If that means using a cheese grater and a spray bottle of alcohol on him to get him to talk, then so be it.
