It's been another 6 months since this thread. And this thread in itself is just the only one I kept a link to. There have been numerous other glowingly hopeful "last throes" statements from the administration and threads on HZ that I won't bore you with links to. Every time there was another Iraqi vote, or Iraqi political sit-down that did not resort to screaming (and some that did resort to screaming), or Saddam capture, or Zarqui near-death/near-maiming/almost-capture/death, or major military operations concluded... Every time something like this has happened you all and Cheney and Bush have gone on the happy prediction trail.
Now, obviously you (and Cheney and Bush) have been proven wrong every time. But what I don't get is how you can fervently expect something really good in a short period of time, not get it, and have not much visible reaction to not getting it. That's kind of the point of the post and I fear you will go off on some trivial something else, so let me make it more visible:
How you can fervently expect something really good in a short period of time, not get it, and have not much visible reaction to not getting it?
Instead you seem to spend your energy shrieking at the traitorous scumbags who don't share your faith.
Time for another friendly reminder
