Looks great!! And the problem with wind turbines is blade maintenance.

Ice, birds, fatigue and what-all cause the blades to go to pot and they require a lot of maintenance, especially the bigger they get. The rest of the generator is fairly simple. Relatively simple, proven and reliable technology. Remote installations such as that could be difficult.

And I wonder how a serious storm would affect it. If one could get the modules down to where they were cheap enough, it looks kinda fun.
