That about what I imagined. It probably violates the KISS principle, but I bet it is doable.

Perhaps they could make a wind turbine that can withstand a hurricane, but I have see up close what hurricanes can do, and I donâ€™t see how one could survive without taking some kind of measure.

Another approach might be to either submerse it or tip it upside-down during a major storm.

But a wind turbine that could transform into a buoy. How cool is that.
