...with 16 volumes plus an index, it takes up a meter of shelf space and is in pristine condition. Handsome binding, beautifull illustrations, and material in translation which now can only be found in the original tongues (the Roman essay I mentioned was translated specifically for this work, and I bet the Teddy Roosevelt entry has been conveniently forgotten).
