One can lead a horse to water...
...but one can't make it drink.

I pointed out the Olbermann fallacy when he was pouting off about rebuilding the WTC. First it was 'this ground can't be hallowed' and then 'why haven't you hallowed it!' The scripts written for Albermann are chock-full of these logical fallacies and non-sequiturs that are delivered with an accusing tone and a pair of fake glasses.

It's farcical. They have utter contempt for their viewers and they know that anyone bright enough to figure out their insult, wasn't going to be a part of their target demographic anyway.

Like I mentioned below, it's not left or right. The main stream media has contempt for both left and right. They trick folks and then laugh behind their backs as folks fall for it. I never watched or listen to 'Rush', nor 'Bill' or participate in those talking head subliminal MSM games.

Politics is the lesser of evils, yet both are constantly drowning in evil.

The answer? Most folks already figure it out by themselves and stop voting religiously. They cease to put their faith in politicians - or vest their happiness on the outcomes of elections. If they do vote, they vote local measures, propositions and don't bother to vote for the rest.

The key is not to let politics fill you with hate.

We all could learn a lesson from those Amish girls who were selfless in the face of adversity and for whom could not hold hate in their hearts, even when facing a psychopath. Whether it be Clinton or Bush we oppose, it would be well to remember the same thing.
