When Don parades the latest casualties around or Bowser uses CE to exploit a loss, politically that's respect?

Expecting folks not to talk about a major national news item, just because it occurred close to you is somewhat unrealistic, MA - the title of this board is Current Events. It was inevitable that this topic would emerge here.

Respect is not a concept I use often. For you see, it implies one treats others differently. If one respects someone it immediately means others one does not respect. And I try to treat everyone equally, as best I can. I hold no one better or worse than another - even if I may disagree with them or their actions. Even when I am being insulted or attacked I still treat them with the same mindset as if they were a close friend.

I understand you are close to this and one feels the burden more acutely.
