Perfectly okay.
When I'm doing real work, I have some heavy graphics processing going. For most people who use their computer for writing, browsing, and e-mail, it doesn't take a lot of power.
Unfortunately, older versions of browsers can't take advantage of some of the features of newer websites, which can be an issue.
