Yeah right.
Bush apologists are also partly responsible for this sad state of affairs. Some of the blood that has spilled stains their hands as well
In your dreams.
The responsibility for murder is the murderers, not society, not his mommy or his environment. In a similar vein, Foley's actions are his responsibility, not his priests, nor that of his party.
I guess I should be numb to the over-the-top rhetoric here spouted by the far, far left contingent here, but I'm not yet. Asininity still will provoke a response.
The fact of the matter is, being a soldier is a very dangerous job. You go into it knowing the biggest risk is you may die and if engaged you will be targeted by the enemy who will be trying to kill you. Dying is, unfortunately, part of the potential job description.
The left has amazingly much to say about military casualties as long as it can be blamed on Bush or it can give them a talking point. When folks were dying
But if you want over the top, let's go over the top.
The left here with their rants and psychotic 'kill the President and his henchmen' type stuff are exactly of the same retarded intrellectual level as the murderers in Iraq. There is almost no difference at all except that you live in a region that is better policed and where not everyone shares your perpetually whining, agit-prop, self-serving political agendas.
Smear some shoe polish over your face and join Bowser, Eric and Jack in blowing something up.
It's sure as heck obvious from here that's what you all wish you could do.
Here is a summary of the analysis of the Somalia mission after Clinton pulled out in 1994 read it closely and learn:
The United States entered Somalia in December 1992 to stop the imminent starvation of hundreds of thousands of people. Although it succeeded in this mission, the chaotic political situation of that unhappy land bogged down U.S. and allied forces in what became, in effect, a poorly organized United Nations nation-building operation. In a country where the United States, perhaps naively, expected some measure of gratitude for its help, its forces received increasing hostility as they became more deeply embroiled into trying to establish a stable government.
The military and diplomatic effort to bring together all the clans and political entities was doomed to failure as each subelement continued to attempt to out-jockey the others for supreme power. The Somali people were the main victims of their own leaders, but forty-two Americans died and dozens more were wounded before the United States and the United Nations capitulated to events and withdrew. American military power had established the conditions for peace in the midst of a famine and civil war, but, unlike later in Bosnia, the factions were not exhausted from the fighting and were not yet willing to stop killing each other and anyone caught in the middle. There was no peace to keep.
The American soldier had, as always, done his best under difficult circumstances to perform a complex and often confusing mission. But the best soldiers in the world can only lay the foundation for peace; they cannot create peace itself.
Emphasis mine.
I don't blame Clinton for Somalia. I blame Somalians. Likewise, I don't blame Bush for Iraq. I blame Iraqis.
The US can't create peace in Iraq. Iraqis have to do that themselves. Unfortunately Iraq is like a land full of Dons, Bowsers, Erics and Jacks - angry folks hyping others with propaganda and hate.
So everytime a soldier dies, think not of Bush - think of the angry agenda driven killers who want power - and then look in the mirror.
There you go. Over the top.
Enjoy.
