If the lesson from Somalia was that "the best soldiers in the world can only lay the foundation for peace; they cannot create peace itself,"<?b> they why didn't George Bush heed those lessons before invading Iraq? And remember, it was his father, George Bush, Sr., who put us in Somalia in the first place. Like father, like son.
We set the debacle in Iraq in motion. The Iraqis didn't ask us to invade. We just did it on our own. Based upon a failed intelligence about mythical weapons of mass destruction. You can't blame the Iraqis for the mess we created.
