I mean, the idiot who made the "joke" threat about dirty bomb attacks at the NFL games? Sure, it was obviously a hoax,
but the authorities had to investigate anyway which costs money and effort best spent elsewhere. I understand that he was "interrogated by police" and then released. I hope they meant "released on bail" because this clown needs to spend some time in the slammer for having a lousy sense of humor.
I haven't met anyone on this forum I would suspect of pulling an stunt like this, but it can't be ruled out, especially since regular posters may be vastly outnumbered by lurkers. Does the management have a policy for dealing with people like this? I don't mean people who lose their temper or unwittingly say something potentially dangerous or even deliberately offensive, but totally irresponsible people who might be inclined to yell "Fire!" in a crowded theater, or perhaps publish personal details about another poster or some other action which might lead to injury or severe problems or inconvenience.
This is a public forum, we are open to anyone, and I believe that implies certain responsibilities as well as privileges. Sometime tempers flare up here, which is fine, but I certainly would have no objection with moderators promptly reporting activity like the NFL hoax promptly to the FBI.

So, who was that guy?
