that the GOP makes a good choice for candidates. In 96 they gave us Bob Dole. A man who had no chance of winning, even against an unpopular President such as Clinton. It was so bad, one campaign slogan was, "If you don't vote for Bob, you won't get Jack". It was in reference to Jack Kemp, the choice for VP.

In 2000 they gave us W. Again a nice guy, but one who can barely put together a simple sentence. For the past several years I've defended him by thinking he was just camera shy and not a good public speaker, but come on it's been 6 years now. At least make a little progress, it's becoming painful to watch.

For 2008, I'd love to see a Frist/Romney ticket. Both men are educated, articulate, and more (dare I say it) progressive on matters of science and technology. Such a team would be unbeatable in 08.
