This is not a Blimp. It's a sort of flying Queen Mary 2.
I live beneath the western approach to DFW airport -- it's kinda cool to hear them throttle back, and to watch, at night, when they turn their "headlights" on, especially the kind that rotate forward and up from a stored down-pointing position. My commute takes me along the northern edge of DFW, where the landing jumbos are already a mere hundred feet or so aloft. I work beneath the final approach to Love Field.
I've already been contemplating the sight of Airbus 380s coming into DFW while I'm driving beneath them... I can't begin to fathom the sight of one of these airwhales!
But, I think it's pretty cool. I hope they don't turn out to be aeronautical vaporware.
