Edwards has that egotistical Southern Baptist minister feel for me. I watched him during speeches and he was just a bit too pleased with himself every time the crowd would react to something he said. I'm sure that feature would resonate in the conservative Southern states but I'm just can't bring myself to the point where I can accept winning just to please the Nascar bunch.
Hillary gives me the same heebie-jeebies. There's something dark hidden under that cold exterior. There are much better women politicians than her. I wish one of them had the clout to run.
However, either would be a breath of fresh air over McCain. You should see the sellout ads the man is running in support of some very scary Republicans here in Arizona right now. For a man that used to have my respect, he's sunken now about as low as one can get and I hope somebody goes after that jerk full force in his next electoral appearance. In many ways, I almost hope that they have something on him and are blackmailing him into supporting vile candidates. The meltdown then would at least be somewhat understandable.
