Did the US supply Iraq with actual chemical weapons or only precursor chemicals and technical expertise that allowed Iraq to manufacture the chemical weapons of their choice? If the US allowed American firms to supply Iraq with precursor chemicals and chemical weapon know-how, was it alone among the civilized nations by doing so?
