It was an opportunity squandered.
And I agree. The Republican's got what they deserved.
The worst part for the Republicans is that the loss sets the table for the Democrats in 2008. It is now the Democrat's to lose. They are completely in the driver seat. The Republican's just have to ride the wave and hope that the Democrats fall somewhere along the way.
Either Obamma or Clinton would ge a formidable candidate in 2008.
