As espoused by True Believers.

“We tend to want there to be instant success in the world, and the task in Iraq is going to take awhile,” the president said. He called the Iraq war a “great struggle” and said, “It’s just going to take a long period of time for the ideology that is hopeful — and that is an ideology of freedom — to overcome an ideology of hate.”

Of course, you're going to have to kill their friends and relatives, too, 'cause they aren't going to like you. And then kill theirs, and so on. I wonder what an "ideology of hate" is. If it's not Bush's.

Next, a class act. Telling 'em they won because the US gave up too soon. 7 years, 58,000 American dead. Too soon. Oh, yes. Has the entire region gone communist?

HANOI, Vietnam - President Bush said Friday the United States’ unsuccessful war in Vietnam three decades ago offered lessons for the American-led struggle in Iraq. “We’ll succeed unless we quit,” Bush said shortly after arriving in this one-time war capital."

They won because they wanted it more. It was their country. Same reason the Iraqis have beat the Bush. Not the US, not the American fighting personnel, but Bush & Co. politicians.

And then Bush moves on to kiss their asses for cheap labor.

How can one person, with an unlimited budget for advisors, be so stupid?
