I simple reffering to Mr. Reid from the point of view that he now is the leader of the senate Democrats. He did threaten it several times although he arrived at his present status to late to use it. Fillibustering is a very valuable tool and I would not like to see it done away with either. I'm really a little ticked off the the republicans would even consider the thought. However it can be misused as well especially where qualified judge appointess are the subject. Democrats label a judge they don't like as an "activist judge" or a judge with an aganda and then somehow they think this justify's a fillibuster on even bringing up a vote. It's an act act of cowardace to not even allow the vote. That's an "activist" act in itself. Afraid of the results, what cowards.
