Your view may be different, but IMO the key here is to alert Mr. Vancil to some of the realities of manned space flight withou dampening his youthful enthusiasm.
Without some kind of "encouragement", I don't know if he will bother to listen more closely.
When irritated with mistatement of my views, I've found that block delete helps.
