Naming games: here's a few from the Mars Society.
Too bad you didn't offer Ken up a few of the naming games from the Mars Society, Chris. i.e.
"There be dragons..." - always trotted up with a lot of handwaving whenever the possibility of biological back contamination is raisesd.
"Bogeyman" - often trotted out when problems with radiaiton are raised.
"Pioneering spirit..."
"Need to explore..." - always trotted out to deal with questions concerning the value of spending large amounts of money to send a few people to Mars for a few days
"living off the land"
"colonization"
- as though Mars were Earth-like.
