Conference Attendance
Raul, when I was active on Mars I used to travel to the USA every year for the LPSC. That whole trip cost me a trans-pacific airfare, conference registration, a couple of weeks motel accomodation and a hire car. Total was between 2,500 and 3,000 AU$, so it would be around 2,000 Euros. Most conferences are open to all, and publicised several months in advance.
I might go to LPSC again this year to see the first results of Hi-Rise discussed in a technical forum, and some serious analysis of the MARSIS radar results.
