Once again, Chris Its no mania, and its Griffin's job now
Hi Chris -
Let's eyeball the average global coastal margin population at 60,000,000
Let's assume historical impact mega-tsunami rate or 1 per 1,000 years continues
The annual death rate works out to 60,000,000/1,000 = 60,000 per year
365 days per year, 60,000/365 = say about 165 deaths per day
24 hours in a day, say about 165/24 = say about 6.8 deaths per hour, or roughly 1 death every 11 minutes.
Now how many minutes of my time do you want to waste?
