Wait about 6 months after Vista is released before you move to it. From what I've seen of IE7s bug-rate and quirkyness, I expect Vista to roll-out with a slew of nasty problems and instabilities. Hopefully MS will have it barreling down hill in the right direction after 6mo or so.

2000 was a darn fine OS as long as you didn't want a server or something lightening fast. XP was a bloated pig that didn't really work as well as 2000. I expect Vista to be another Windows ME... Something so horrid they'll have to shake up everything and really push something out the door thats good. Whatever comes after Vista will probably be as decent an OS as MS can make WRT what else is on the market... Unless Mac finally un-ass-hats and de-budles its OS in a supported fashon.
