Is that what you meant, Tony? Or did you, as I suspect, mean that most people here recognize that there are other factors involved, AS WELL AS U.S. policies?
And Tom, it's not me moving the goalposts. I've been asking you the same thing all along, you're the one who keeps shifting it from "participating" to "supporting".
Yes, a small number of people can cause a lot of damage, but my point is that this relatively small number of people doesn't exactly qualify as a whole civilizations, as in your reference to "a clash of civilizations".
