Might work, but wouldn't a lot of energy be lost?

I don't think battery powered cars would be a problem for daily driving to work and back. Its those long trips where it would be an issue. People might just have to allow for charging time. I wouldn't have a problem with it, but selling it to consumers may be a problem.
