Funny, all this time the party line has been that this has been done for the Iraqis.

Now we are to understand that the Iraqi government is working for the US. Interesting how, now that things aren't going so well, the high-sounding rhetoric about freedom and liberation is giving way to more, um, imperialist expressions. Could it possibly be that empire was the point all along?
