This guy thought he was entitled to women's affections.
He felt they needed to be punished because they rejected him. He was a sexual bigot, he saw women as property that existed for his pleasure, and indignant they were not eager to adopt that role.
He felt about women exactly the way Nazis felt about Jews. I think "fascist" is perfectly appropriate.
