Back in the treason debates at the end I felt you were one of the few war opponants trying to be reasonable. At this juncture I find you among the least reasonable. Tony is entirely reasonable. Mary Anne is reasonable withing a very narrow range she is willing to comment on. RL is saying nothing positively refutable and nothing of significance. Alcaray had a reasonable point even if I disagree with his conclusion. I generally have a much higher confidence in your honesty and good intentions than DL's and most other posters, but you are making statements that I absolutely don't understand what your basis for them is. Normally, even when I disagree with you I believe in your good intentions. I believe you have a strong sense of honor in general with a very normal problem of admitting to the few mistakes you make. I believe I over reacted to your initial comments to Gary based on your subsequent comments, but the subsequent followups by you and others to justify your comments were even worse in my mind. What free speech truly means is the crux of the issue imo and I intend to start a new thread on it in a hopefully civil tone, but on flame just in case.
