The IRI poll from last June can be found here, unfortunately in PowerPoint format. Downloading and looking at it offline are recommended. Haven't these people ever heard of PDF?
Maliki's overall approval rating among respondents was 55 percent, with 20 percent disapproval, and 20 percent don't know. This varies widely when you ask different groups in Iraq, with approval ranging from 84 percent in the South down to 5 percent in the Northern Arab group.
Confidence in Maliki was at 58 percent, with 27 percent not confident.
The figures given in the above post can be found on page 36 of the presentation.
The rest of the poll is quite informative, too, particularly in showing the radically different views of different groups on some subjects. I highly recommend a close look.
To be fair, I don't know what a current poll would reveal.
