I've covered some of these projects for various news clients and the key problem facing the jumper is how to control spin rate at such high speeds. The time between getting into an excessive rate and being torn quite literally limb from limb is measured in seconds. Enthusiasts keep coming up with this concept, independently, check it out seriously, get really sobered-up, and slink away to try something else.
