Why does that bother you?
Of course Iraq has problems...big problems, but there are areas where significant progress has been and is being made. Iraq may be far from a paradise, but it's not total gloom and doom either. Large sections of the country are experiencing relative calm and reconstruction is moving forward. The Iraqi security forces are quite corrupt in some areas and quite good in others.
Hearing good news of any kind coming out of Iraq seems to trouble you. Any thoughts of success seem to scare the dog mess out of you.
